How do I apply for employment?
You may apply using one of the following methods:

• Submit an Job application form
• Apply in person: Monday through Thursday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
• Mail your application to:

Can I submit just my resume and/or cover letter, or do you require an application to be submitted?
You must complete an application. Resumes are not accepted in lieu of applications. You are able to upload your resume when submitting an application.

Do I need to fill out each section of the NCSD Employment Application?
Yes. The online application must be completed in its entirety. Please do not enter “See Resume” in the employment history section of the application process. Any application that is not completed will not be considered for employment.

How often do you post vacant positions?
Positions are posted as they become available. We recommend that you check our website weekly for posting updates.

Does NCSD conduct post-offer background checks, physical examination and drug screenings?
Yes, for all individuals selected for employment.
